The most unique festival in the country is back next month.
My Favorite Bands, a festival devoted entirely to tribute bands and dreamed up by esteemed studio maestro Colin Bricker back in 2009, is set to return for another year.
This year's edition of the festival, which is once again taking place in Greeley, features six bands on one night, playing on two stages.
On the free 9th Street Plaza stage, Save Our City is slated to take on the music of the Doors, Little Creatures will channel the Talking Heads, and Loud Mary's will summon Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Later that night at the Moxi Theatre, Oxycodone injects itself into Morphine, Chitlin Dixon revives Prince, and Peter Paul & Gary try their hand at playing the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack. Tickets for that show are $15.
