Songwriters, here’s an event that sounds interesting that you might want to know about.
In keeping with their efforts to offer up continually progressive programming, the folks at Syntax Physic Opera have teamed up with members of the Denver Composers Symposium meet-up group to host an event next Saturday, September 10, that will feature Neil Lyons of Denver's Moon Magnet Studios collective.
Lyons is a local musician who has experience with music licensing. In the past year and a half, he’s purportedly been involved with helping several dozen acts gain licensing opportunities in everything from television ad campaigns to films. Next Saturday, Lyons will on hand sharing his experience and offering his expertise—invaluable information for working musicians who are looking to make a living making music.
The first annual Denver Composers Symposium event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at Syntax (554 S. Broadway).
