Free shows: FMQB Triple A Conference returns to Boulder this week

Short on cash? Good news: There's some great shows in Boulder this week, and they're free.

The annual three-day FMQB Triple A Conference is set to kick off on Wednesday evening in Boulder with a free show featuring Wynonna and the Big Noise and Jamestown Revival, and a sold-out show at the Fox Theatre featuring Amos Lee, Lake Street Dive, and Joseph & Dan Layus.

On Thursday, there's another free show on the Hill featuring Moon Taxi and Foy Vance, along with a show at the Fox Theatre, featuring Norah Jones, Graham Nash, Declan McKenna and Warpaint. The Fox's site lists this show as also being sold out, but on Tuesday afternoon on Facebook, the venue said a limited number of tickets for its sold-out shows have been released.

The conference concludes on Friday with a free show featuring The Record Company and Tom Odell are on the outdoor stage, and Barns Courtney, Band of Horses, Blind Pilot and the Wild Feathers inside the Fox. Tickets are $45 (plus fees) for that show and are still available.
