So. Much. New. Music.

There is a flood of new music here and on its way. Can hardly wait! There's a bunch of stuff out already that immediately caught our ear, including a trio of new releases from some longtime favorites, Sedrick Avenue (the artist formerly known as Whygee), Dent and Gypdahyp, who have all blessed the world with new music.

First up, Sedrick Avenue has a brand new mixtape, fittingly titled Things To Do in Denver When You're Sed, and it's well worth your time, as always. (There's two sides to the mixtape; side A is embedded above.)

Dent, who's on the mend after being hit by a vehicle that ran a red light last month, dropped a bunch of new cuts on Soundcloud, and he hasn't missed a step, either. Here's to hoping he makes a speedy and full recovery, along with a hearty hell yeah! for the new tunes.

Gypdahip recently dropped Block Boy Vol. 1., and it's super hot. His first release in a while, it's made up of some remixes of cuts by Danny Brown, F.O.E./Future, Big K.R.I.T./Alabama Shakes and U.G.K. Don't sleep.

Elsewhere, a pair of premieres hit the web in the past few days. In advance of In the Whale's appearance at AFROPUNK Brooklyn this weekend. Afropunk.com debuted "American Eyes," the first single from In the Whale's forthcoming record, Quicksand, which is due out on October 21.

A.V. Club is streaming a new track from Wovenhand's forthcoming album, Star Treatment, which was reportedly recorded at Steve Albini's studio in Chicago with Sanford Parker. On the new track, titled "The Hired Hand," the band, which is due to appear at Psycho Fest in Las Vegas this weekend, sounds positively energized. Star Treatment is due out next month on Sargent House.

The fall release schedule otherwise looks promising as hell. So far, we've caught wind of new tunes on the way from the Yawpers, Wheelchair Sports Camp, F.O.E., FlobotsPink Hawks, Paper Bird, Havok, Allegaeon, Windemeres, the Cutthroat DriftersShayna Rain, Rusty Maples and more. And that's just not even the tip of the iceberg. There's also new releases from Mr. Midas, Sugar Skulls & Marigolds, Eros and Eschaton, Lxst Bxys, Tommy Metz and Alright Alright, among others, that we haven't even had a chance to really listen to yet. Keep an eye on this space for more details on these and other new releases.
