The Epilogues release final record before last show on Friday

By now, you've no doubt heard that the Epilogues are playing their last show on Friday.

It's always sad when a great band calls it a day, and so, expectedly, folks across the front range have been bummed ever since the Epilogues broke the news at the end of June that they were hanging up this weekend after a handful of gigs, including a set at the UMS.

Fortunately, fans won't be left empty handed. Yesterday, the band posted its final album on Soundcloud, with a wink yesterday on its Facebook page. "The nice part about having a limited amount of time left as a band," they wrote, "is we can pretty much do what we want. We woke up this morning and decided we wanted to release our final album. Enjoy..."

So, yeah, enjoy — and then sing along on Friday at the Summit Music Hall, when the band bids its final adieu in the company of South of France, Flaural, and Eros and the Eschaton. Tickets are $12 to $35 and on sale now.
