A member of Denver's tight knit, DIY music community needs some help.

Rose Kemp is a 15-year-old aspiring filmmaker, who also volunteers at the Seventh Circle Music Collective. Earlier this week, her and her family lost all of their possessions when their Lakewood home caught fire. A GoFundMe campaign (https://www.gofundme.com/2reycyss) has been established to help Kemp with necessities.

According to Seventh Circle's Aaron Saye, who shared Kemp's story online with friends in the community, Kemp's in need of clothes and school supplies. So far $870 has been raised toward a $2,000 goal.

"Times were financially tight for her family already," said Saye, who's working on setting up a benefit show for Kemp and her family. "So this is a huge burden they now unexpectedly have to bear.

"This is one of the coolest people I've ever met, so outgoing and positive and friendly," he added. "And while no one deserves to lose literally everything in the span of an hour, she's the LAST person I would wish any sort of negative experiences upon."
